Request account deletion

You can submit a deletion request without signing in to the app. The operator may verify account ownership before processing it.

Last updated October 2, 2026

This page is a request route, not an automatic deletion control. Do not email your password, sign-in codes, or suspected child-safety images.

Submit a request

Email the operator from the address associated with your Groupora account. Include your username and, if different, the account email. If you cannot access that email address, explain that in your request. Do not include a password or one-time verification code.

Email a deletion request

Abdul Latif, Groupora’s individual developer and operator based in Pakistan, may ask you to verify that you own the account before acting on the request. You do not need to sign in merely to send the email. If you can sign in, you may also start deletion in Account settings; the current email/password flow requires recent password verification, schedules deletion 30 days later, and lets you cancel during that recovery period by signing in and verifying your password. An email request does not automatically start that in-app 30-day schedule.

What the current deletion process removes

After a verified in-app deletion is processed, the service removes the Firebase Authentication account, the user profile tree, many follow, membership, block, request, report, and message references, Groups owned by the account, and user-owned Story, custom-sticker, and shared-media files. Server cleanup runs periodically and may complete after the scheduled time.

Information that may remain

The current deletion process does not remove every related record or file. Channel follows and content may remain because Channel records are outside the current account-deletion process. Channel moderation reports and referral-abuse risk records may be retained for safety and abuse prevention; separate Diamond account, operation, and ledger records remain for accounting integrity. Some Group files stored outside user-specific media paths may remain. Several of these categories have no general automatic expiry. Other users’ copies and downloads, device caches, and backups may also remain.
